Allergies

An allergy is a condition in which the immune system overreacts to the presence of a specific substance, which is itself generally harmless.  The following are some examples of treatments provided for various common allergies:

  • Seasonal allergies - allergic to air-born environmental allergens such as pollen.  Acupuncture is applied to rebalance the immune system, reduce inflammation, drain sinuses, and improve breathing.  Acupressure or reflexology may also be applied to rebalance the immune system and improve breathing.
  • Food allergies - allergic to a food or beverage substance.  Acupuncture is applied to rebalance the immune system and reduce inflammation.  Acupressure or reflexology may also be applied to rebalance the immune system.
