"Needless Acupuncture" for Babies and Children

Shonishin (sho-nee-shin) is a Japanese treatment method specifically designed for the treatment of babies and young children.  Rather than using needles that penetrate the skin, acu-points and channels are lightly stimulated using small specialized tools on the surface of the skin.  This method was developed as an easy and painless method of treating babies and children who are too sensitive for needles.  In this way babies and young children can be given treatment that's as effective as acupuncture, but non-invasive and painless.
